I see you got the idea to cast Michael J. Pollard as Mxyzptlk from "The Adventures of Superboy" didn't you?

Yes, he is a dead ringer. :) Although, nowadays he may be too old?

So you mean to tell me that Micheal J. Pollard is meant for the role like how Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill are the best damn Batman and Joker?

If anything I have the two episodes of Superboy where Micheal J. Pollard is Mxyzptlk on my laptop. I'm still wondering how would they put him in the "MAN OF STEEL" canon, unless they do it like how they did in "Smallville" with the immigrant teenager Mikail Mxyzptlk.

Agreed, Conroy and Hamill should be in a live action movie.

I think Superman could be a huge hit if they were to start with modern day Metropolis. Everyone is where they should be. Superman is stopping robberies and rescuing tree cats.

Luthor is a constant presence, business man up to no good. He will discreetly be behind each villain introduced in the sequels.

Parasite, Silver Banshee, Metallo, Toyman, Bizarro. He would open the Phantom Zone in the next to last movie and team up with Brainiac in the final film.

Amongst the many potential sequels, what about a family friendly movie in 3-D for Mr. Mxyzptlk's introduction?

Mr. Mxyzptlk was almost going to be in Superman III and Dudley Moore was considered for the role.

I had a kick-ass idea for a "Man of Steel" Sequel... How about Lex Luthor does appear, but his laboratory in Lex Corp experiments on humans, turning them into Meta-humans with special abilities... but then the Meta-humans go insane, escape, and attack Metropolis only for Superman to stop them... I used this as a excuse to introduce movie versions of Parasite, Livewire, Solomon Grundy, Silver Banshee, and what if Luthor experiments on a human using Superman's DNA and it mutates the victim into a version of Bizarro... well it's alot better than the two Nuclear Men (Yes I am aware of the first Superman clone in "Superman IV: The Quest for Peace" and that scene appears in the comic adaptation)

The reason why I'd have a hard time thinking about how Mxyzptlk would work in a "Man of Steel" sequel is because they are trying for realism and making it darker and edgier here and that imp sounds IMPossible to adapt into dark realism, especially since he's a reality warper and the only way to make him vanish to to trick him into saying, spelling, writing, or otherwise revealing his name backwards.

I had no freaking clue about the Dudley Moore story! That's insane, I kinda wished it had happened!

That's a perfect kind of storyline. Pretty close to what I thought. Luthor's secretly involved with all the threats and maybe cons/recruits STAR labs into helping him study and hold them.

I agree, Mxy wouldn't fit in the current style. However, I think the studios underestimate the ability to accept and enjoy "fantasy" concepts. Obviously there are fantasy films that enamor millions of fans. I would think movies with people who stretch and fly and shoot eye beams are already insane concepts, they can do a successful totally faithful comic adaptation.

Ahh, if only we were in charge, eh?

Read and weep pal!

However since Dudley Moore was almost Mxyzptlk and played that drunk millionaire Arthur... how about they get Russel Brand who played a drunk millionaire named Arthur... and make him Mxyzptlk in a Man of Steel sequel!

Just kidding. Right now I'm watching the Hanna Barbera Pac-Man series and I am aware of the reboot the franchise got in the form of a CGI show called "Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures", have you seen it before?

Oh and one more thing... have you seen the trailer for "Curse of Chucky" yet?

Oh wow, thanks for that link!  Actually, maybe you were joking, but I could see Brand bringing an interdimensional charm to Mxy!  :)

I have not seen the PacMan show, I'll have to look into it.  I have seen the Chucky trailer and am very excited to see it this October! :)
