I always loved Disney's Alice in Wonderland.
Upon reading Carroll's books both Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, I was bummed that Disney took such liberties in mixing the characters up and leaving a slew of memorable characters out.
Here's my remedy.
These guys were already designed in Disney style.
Humpty Dumpty was used as a Wonderland character in Disney comics. [link]
The Mock Turtle was animated by Disney in a Jell-O commercial. [link]
The Gryphon was cut out. [link]
The Jabberwock. Seen here. [link]
All characters (c) Lewis Carroll, co-opted by Disney

I love that the Mock Turtle and the Gryphon while not appearing in the Disney film, at least made an appearance in a classic Jello commercial with Alice.
